1 November 2015, Mumbai:  In India cataract has been reported to be responsible for 50-80% of the bilaterally blind in the country. As the 60+ population is slated to increase to over a 100 million mark by 2016 the population “at-risk” of blinding cataract is also deemed to increase.

Cases of abandoned and ignored elderly who seldom are given proper care and treatment is also growing. In such circumstances most of them who suffer from Cataract are mostly left to lead a very uncomfortable life.

Unique eternity

Swiss watchmaker Carl F. Bucherer has made a unique watch just for this occasion: the Manero ChronoPerpetual Only Watch 2015.

Featuring a “grand complication” perpetual calendar, the Manero ChronoPerpetual is able to show the date, day, month, year and moon phase without requiring correction. The mechanism accommodates the differing month lengths so it will only require manual adjustment in the year 2100. For that is when an intercalary year is skipped, i.e. when the year is divisible by 100 but not by 400. The Manero ChronoPerpetual additionally combines the perpetual calendar with a complete chronograph. The complexity of such a timekeeping mechanism makes this watch a masterpiece.

Only the Manero ChronoPerpetual OnlyWatch 2015 is specially made of pure white gold. The date of the auction, November 2015, is embossed on the black dial in a striking red, complemented by an elegant black alligator leather band. Documenting its uniqueness, an engraving on the case back reads:

For any resident, a decently developed infrastructure in the neighbourhood allows them to live a peaceful life and those who are not the residents of a region are dependent upon good connectivity to commute hassle free and meet their respective needs, which can be official commutation, recreational travelling and others. Thus, real estate sector can only succeed once there exists sound infrastructure and connectivity for its users.

“History has been a witness to how well-developed infrastructure and connectivity shapes up the real estate prospects of a region. There exist a direct relation between real estate in a region and the region’s development with respect to infrastructure and connectivity. Extending on the same but with a different outlook, Mr. Sushant Muttreja, CMD of Cosmic Group is of the view that commercial real estate has lost its lustre over the time as regions in India are still much short on the connectivity front. He says “It’s very crucial to analyse and access the demand of a commercial property versus a residential property. Once a commercial property sets up in a region, it banks high on external catchment and if the location is well connected with decent infrastructure, it becomes 50 percent easy for the commercial property to meet its supply. This sight has been greatly missing in Indian real estate sector, where the residential real estate has been immensely worked upon and commercial real estate is still to receive its due; something which has recently started to gain importance after the ‘Make In India’ initiative”.

Another side of real estate sector is residential, which presently is under a series of governmental pushes especially through Housing For All initiative. But the main question is; what is the point of owning a house which is neither well connected nor is in proximity to vital infrastructural facilities such as schools, hospitals, education institutes and other such civic regional amenities? Therefore, connectivity and infrastructure hold a key place in shaping up residential real estate in a region. Launched at Baselworld 2015, Q1 is Montegrappa’ s most bold statement yet of its commitment to broadening the notion of a modern fountain pen. Though created without a precedent, the Q1 pen joins Montegrappa’ s Cult Collection for it intrinsically embodies the concept of “cult” in its definition beyond “a special interest group or sect.” In this context, Q1 creates its own following, for its concept and appeal reflect wholly original thinking and practice.

The Montegrappa Q1 respects no boundaries. It is unashamedly modernist, and yet its roots are in the venerable art of handwriting and drawing. No space-age feeder system nor trick cartridge: Q1 is boldly and emphatically a fountain pen, and only a fountain pen. It embraces the most fluid and elegant form of writing instrument yet devised, but one with history. The revolutionary aspect of Q1 is its presentation in a truly radical form, with features not found before in a pen.

A mere glance informs the observer – both pen enthusiast and casual onlooker – that this pen is special, original, ground-breaking. Its appeal is unapologetically masculine, yet its functionality is unisexual, for it boasts an amazing choice of materials and design, with the convenience of interchangeable colours. Above all, it is a technological statement, an advance on all pens that came before it.

Q1 draws its design inspirations from the fascinating world of firearms, exercised in a manner that shares a “steampunk” sensibility with Montegrappa’ s “Grappa” pen, also in the Cult Collection. While the purpose of weapons is combative, their construction and aesthetic have always been a product of function, allied to standards of manufacturing quality, materials and finish that have been emulated by car makers, camera designers and now, by a pen producer.

Fusion is the key, with Q1 marrying ultra-tough and hard titanium for the pen’s barrel with titanium and fine Italian leather for the pen cap, Stainless steel has been employed for the internal parts of the pen, while tradition demands that an 18K gold nib with filigree Montegrappa logo is fitted at the writing end.

A plethora of intriguing technical details ensure that the user will return again and again to the Q1 to discover fresh features. The Montegrappa octagonal pattern on both leather and titanium creates a contrasting surface with a different tactility to that of the matte-finish barrel. The cap locks onto the barrel with a slot-and-pin system reminiscent of a gun scope or camera lens. The arched pocket clip features the signature ball end-piece for smooth ingress and egress to and from pockets.

Q1 is the fruit of two years research, which culminated in the invention of a unique multiple cartridge loading system. This system makes it possible for the Q1 pen to write with several ink colours by changing four different cartridges. The mechanism, similar to the one of a bullet cylinder in a gun, is contained entirely inside the pen barrel and is the subject of a registered industrial patent.

Q1 will be produced in an edition of only 100 pieces, and will be available only in a fountain pen mode. Appropriately, the Q1’s packaging is as exclusive as the fountain pen itself. Inspired by the robustness and functionality of an ammunition case, the chest is made of wood, with soft lining to protect the contents. It is fitted with a number of compartments to accommodate both the pen and its accessories, including auxiliary hardware for its continued maintenance: a pair of gloves, a set of tissues and spare ink cartridges.

A final element of the Q1 experience is the inclusion of a syringe, specifically supplied for the cleaning of the feeder from the ink colour last used, when changing the cartridge for a different colour. This attention to detail befits a pen that breaks the rules, while defining new ones.

Govinda added further, but I don’t like to burn crackers because it creates pollution which is not good for us and as well as for innocent birds and animals also ,Crackers voice raise so much pollution which affect very badly ,So I just want to appeal to my fans please avoid that kind of Patakha and Crackers which creates pollution ,Celebrate a safe and beautiful diya diwali .

Hunar Haili :

TV Actress Hunar Haili says that diwali celebrations are on floor and still I am shooting in delhi but hopefully will get a day off and I will fly to my hometown for diwali celebrations ,the actress gives  lots of love and wishing a very happy diwali to World News Network readers

Glamorous Model Anupama says that I celebrate diwali in a diffrent way ,last couple of years I used to go and celebrate diwali with kids in NGO ,hopefully this diwali celebration with those kids only .
